About Chavah Foundation

Chavah Foundation is dedicated to supporting orphans living with HIV and Orphans with Special Needs in Ghana. Founded and operated by Beverly, Chavah Foundation promises a long-term investment in the future of the children for which it cares and caters for.

Chavah Foundation is an NGO whose sole aim is to support and provide for orphaned children living with HIV and special needs children in the country. Chavah has been providing for some orphanages in Ghana since 2004, but officially from 2017 been providing for orphaned kids born and living with the disease. Chavah provides educational materials, toys and medication and food.

Who We Are

Chavah Foundation is a non governmental organization registered in Ghana under the companies act 1963, act 179.

  1. We provide and support orphaned children born and living with HIV and provide a loving home environment that will meet their physical, psychological and spiritual needs, allowing them to grow and develop to their full potential.
  2. We also provide and cater for Abused Orphans and Orphans with special needs.
  3. We provide a solid foundation in the Christian Faith and strive to build a future for orphaned children living with HIV in Ghana.
  4. We assist, support and provide medications, good nutrition, medical assistance, quality education and a serene environment for these amazing children.
  5. We develop the community through employment and training opportunities.

The foundation strives to prepare children to be self-sufficient through academic and vocational training and give them a strong foundation in the Christian faith. As the name implies “Chavah” meaning Mother of all Living, provides a warm atmosphere to the 25 orphaned children living with the disease. Their ages are between 3 – 19 years.

Our Belief

It is our belief that every child deserves the right to equal opportunities, the right to quality education and a good sound mental environment. As a mother of the living; we strongly believe that these kids deserve the love and the best society can offer, so that they can also find value in life and smile irrespectively of the stigmatization and their situation.
